Below is the syllabus for Dr Sykes' CPD Course. For more information please contact the clinic. What Tutors Don’t Tell You! Oscar Wilde once said, ‘The only thing to do with good advice is to pass it on'. Approved by the National Council for Hypnotherapy, the National Council for Psychotherapy and the Association for Professional Hypnosis and Psychotherapy. The course will last 6 sessions. Each session will last 2 hours – one hour will be tutorials (detailed below), one hour will be an open forum for you to discuss and get advice on your current clients, any problems you are having, etc. During the course your questions, ideas and suggestions are welcome. After all, this course is for you! Sykes, is an accredited member of the NCP and the APHP and is a Senior Clinician for the NCH. He has a PhD in Psychology and Health Sciences and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Health. He has also spent 5 years as the Consulting Hypnotherapist at the LGI Pain Clinic, 9 months at Kirkwood Hospice and 10 years at Primary Health Care Practice whilst also practicing privately. He has attended dozens of medically orientated workshops, lectures and congresses and is a Visiting Professor for the Open University for Complementary Medicine. He is also a Post Graduate Education Approved Lecturer for Medical Practitioners CPD and sometime Faculty Member of the International Stress Management Association and the European Society for Hypnosis in Psychotherapy & Psychosomatic Medicine. He has learnt and tried various methods and worked out the best strategies. Dr Sykes has accumulated vast knowledge and experience throughout his 35 years as a hypnotherapist – now he wants to pass it on to you!
